Dr Brandon Winfrey

Brandon Winfrey is an academic in Monash University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He teaches water and wastewater treatment across undergraduate and graduate programs, bringing practical experience to his units. His research focuses on ecological engineering, particularly for sustainable water management and treatment. Brandon addresses urban sustainability challenges by investigating how natural processes can be integrated into built environments, including projects on plant health in green roofs, wetlands, and bioretention systems and maintenance of water sensitive urban design assets.
